"Sneak Peek"

So this past sat. we had the Cloud Dust photo shoot......it was at New Creations here in magnolia,, thanks so much Joana for letting us use ur place!!! Erin, from Imagine Photography and Jennifer, with Jennifer Hood Photography came and did the shoot....I had about a dozen little girls....aged from 9m to 6yrs old......and they all did so good.....except for my own, Katie Mae....lol.......she was glued to my hip...and cried if i tried to put her down or if someone else tried to hold her....it's a little of out of character for her to act this way.....she's usually the one chasing all the big kids around and laughing all the way.....ah!......but anyway.. we got some great pics..and the kids looked so adorable in all the new clothes.....my friend best friend melanie came down the night before and helped me SO MUCH finishing everything up ........i was really excited to meet some of my customers for the first time too....thanks holly and jill for bringing ur girls!!...and my cousin drove all the way from dallas with her daughter..,,thanks nikkie!.....everyone just had such a good time!.....i can't even begin to explain how cool it was to have all the girls wearing my clothes,,, and loving them.....twirling around in the skirts..and one little one cried that she couldn't take her outfit home...lol.....so sweet.......i'm dying to see all the pics!!...until then,,,Erin sent me just a few to hold me over......enjoy!!!

"World Peace and Chicken Nuggets"

So i'm sure everyone can think of at least one phrase that they're parents said All the time.....like it's their "famous" saying or something,,,, for example.....when someone left the front door opened my dad would always say "what's wrong with u , were u raised in a barn?".........well,,,,my wonderful husband has a couple of his own when it comes to our kiddos.....when one of the kids complains about what we're having for dinner, david always says, "u know, there's a lot of kids that don't have anything to eat for dinner tonight, and i know they would love to have ur food".......i keep waiting for the day that one of my kids says, "well give it to them"....lol......but that thankfully hasn't happend......lol........the other famous phrase david can always be counted on to say when the kids are fighting, or whining about not getting what they want,,,,"Well, i want world peace,, but we can't always get what we want,".........okay, with all this being said,,, david and emma grace were in the drive thru at mcdonalds last night,,,,,and david ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget meal,,,,,,,as they were driving around the the building,, eg started asking "Dad, why didn't u get a world piece?..... u always say u want a "world peace".....but u always order that 10 piece...why?"..................all i can do is smile even as i type this.......my sweet little emma grace......kids bring so much to our lives......i can't imagine my life without them!

"Kids"

So i've been slacking on my blog.....sorry guys.......i'm finding it hard to make the extra time to get on here! things have been really busy around here........besides keeping up with Cloud Dust,, i teach dance three days a week...and now i've committed to leading a small group at our church, The Church at Waterbrook..... it's actually a sewing group... i titled it "sewing into the kingdom".......i'm teaching around twenty ladies to sew, every monday night....and during our three month class we'll be making baby blankets to donate to the hannah house, a pro life preg crisis center, and also be taking some up to the local hospital for new mothers...as a gift from our church....we are all very excited to be able to give back to our community......we had our first meeting this week...and it was great.................i also got a few hats in i ordered for my girls, i ordered them from "Emma Rose Boutique"....she has a myspace page,, that's where i found her,,,one of the hats is red with a white ribbon thru it,,, i got it because it goes so well with the valentine's shirt/dress i did this year......,,,,anyway,,, here are a few new pics of the kiddos.........o...and i was thinking yesterday that i needed to start writing down all of warnock's quotes....he's hilarious.....the things he does and says......for example.....we were watching the presidential inaguration on tues.....and he asked me like six different times,,,, "Is Barack Obama that guy with the big head from the star wars movie?".......where he gets all this stuff i don't know.. but it def gets a laugh out of me~!......

"Diaper Bags"

here's a couple of diaper bags i did this week......the first is a custom bag....the customer wanted a sail boat to match the baby's nursery.....the little boy's name is Karson.......i love how it turned out...the colors go so well together......
the second one is also a custom bag....the fabrics are the exact fabrics used in the baby's nursery....the little wet spot on the top of the bag is from the "no fray" stuff i put on the end of the ribbon....it dried clear.......

"Red. Black, and White"

Here is another outfit for 2009......again paired with the white stretchy, soft pettipants....this dress is a halter, tied with a ribbon...that i have since changed to a black satin ribbon instead of the white.....i matched up a black and white polka dot with a red flowered print....the center of the flowers is a turquoise color... i really like how this dress came out....the ruffle down the middle is my fav part i think......
