"Roses and Rides"

This past weekend i picked emma grace up from school and we hit the road.......headed to my parents' house for the night.....on sat their tiny town in TX had it's annual "Wildflower Trails".....they have a little carnival...and my kids don't normally get to go every year because eg's birthday party usually falls on the same sat.......so this was a real treat for them......before we went to town i couldn't resist taking a couple pics in my mom's rose garden.....she has a huge flower garden surrounding her house,, and it's all mostly roses......i got a few great pics...katie loved tearing up the one rose we let her...lol....then we drove into town and watched the parade first.....and it was cold....and of course i didn't bring jackets cause it was so hot the last several days before.....luckily there was a dollar store across the street,,so i ran over and bought a few blankets......after the parade we went to the carnival.....the kids LOVE riding rides.....and this was katie mae's first chance to do so......just like my older two at that age, she cried every time she had to get off the rides....lol.......
