Katie's Birthday.......

My days as being mommy to babies seems to have come to an end.......Katie Mae turned one year old on Sunday.........it's really sad for me........a lot of people can't wait to get out of the "baby" stage.....but i just wish i could linger in it longer.......my kids are such a huge part of my life.......and i love being a mother more then almost anything else...........i try to cherish each stage and moment in their lives.....and am so grateful to be able to stay at home and take care of them everyday.....and not miss the first time they roll over, sit up.....say a word...crawl, pull-up and now walk........
and now katie is walking......a lot.....i guess it's time to put shoes on the kid...lol........it being summer and her not walking i could get away with it.......not anymore.......
so.....anyway,,,,,katie's birthday fell on a sunday this year............it seemed very fitting.....being able to go to church and praise our Lord and thank Him for this beautiful life...........and then going to celebrate ........
we decided to just do a birthday lunch for her first .......david's fam goes to eat lunch at pizza inn every sunday......so we thought that would be easy.............so we loaded up cupcakes and presents and off we went.......katie had a great time.......we put her high chair at the head of the looong table and she loved all the attention she got.......she just smiles and laughs.........so sweet.......we sang happy birthday and she had a Great time eating her cupcake.........then my grandma fed her some ice cream.......and she loved that too..................
i'd write more,, but i'm trying not to dwell on it too much.......it makes me sad.......she's officially a toddler now..............my sweet katie mae.........

Katie Mae is so cute! Looks like she had a blast at her party. I can't wait to be able to have birthday parties with my kids!
BTW, the little outfit she is wearing is so cute! I know you must have made it. I love the cupcake on the shirt! adorable!

Yes, I figured it was a cupcake especially since it was her birthday. That was a cute idea.
